Professor, Researcher, and Author in Management, Technology, and Education
Alex Baroni is a professor, researcher, author, and technology professional working in statistics and data analysis, academic research, electronics, software development, model building, and radio control systems.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration from FUMEC University and completed part of his doctoral studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal through a nine-month visiting doctoral research period. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and has additional academic qualifications in Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Management, Technology, and Accounting.
Throughout his career, he has sought to bring together academic knowledge, technology, and practical application, whether through research and teaching, software development, data analysis, electronic circuit construction, or model-building projects.
This website brings together some of the knowledge and experience accumulated throughout his professional, academic, and personal journey.
Areas of Expertise and Knowledge
Statistics and Data Analysis
One of Alex Baroni’s areas of expertise is the application of statistics to academic research and data analysis.
His content goes beyond performing statistical procedures by explaining the reasoning involved in selecting appropriate methods and, most importantly, interpreting the results.
Topics include quantitative research, statistical analysis, regression, correlation, hypothesis testing, and the use of Jamovi.

Electronics and Audio
Alex Baroni’s interest in electronics began during childhood, when he took apart toys and reused motors and components in small experiments.
He later began studying electronics and developing his own circuits and projects. While still a teenager, one of his projects was published in a special edition of Saber Eletrônica magazine.
Over the years, he continued studying, building circuits, and producing educational materials about electronics.
An important part of this work involves electronics applied to audio, including transistors, biasing, amplification, push-pull circuits, power supplies, speakers, and tube amplifiers.
Among the projects documented on the website is the construction of a tube amplifier based on the Fender Champ 5C1.

Model Building and Radio Control
Electronics also became a bridge to another field that has been part of Alex Baroni’s life for decades: model building.
His interest in remote-control systems led him to experiment with transmitters, receivers, motors, servos, and electronic circuits designed to control models.
Over the years, he developed projects involving model aircraft, RC cars, and RC boats, while also producing articles and videos explaining how the components used in these systems work.
One of the documented projects involved building a radio control system using the MC145026 and MC145027 integrated circuits, which was later used to control a model boat.
He also built several radio-controlled watercraft, including the Yarra tugboat, which was constructed from balsa wood and presented at a Brazilian Naval Academy Regatta event.
This combination of electronics and model building gave rise to much of the content about radio control, servos, ESCs, BECs, motors, receivers, batteries, and propulsion systems available on this website.

Technology and Software Development
Technology also holds an important place in his professional career.
Alex Baroni has experience in business software development, an activity directly connected to other areas of his work, including management, data analysis, and technology.
Throughout his career, he has developed software, projects, and initiatives focused on solving real-world problems by combining technical knowledge with practical application.
Teaching and Knowledge Production
Teaching has been present throughout different stages of his career.
In addition to academic teaching, Alex Baroni has developed in-person and online courses, articles, videos, educational software, and other teaching materials related to his areas of expertise.
A significant portion of this work is available on this website and through his video channels.
His objective is to make technical and academic subjects easier to understand while preserving the essential foundations required to apply this knowledge in practice.

Theory, Experimentation, and Practice
A common element across the different areas of Alex Baroni’s career is the pursuit of integration between theory and practice.
At times, this means analyzing research data. At others, it involves developing software, studying an electronic circuit, building an amplifier, or making a radio-controlled model work.
Much of the content on this website emerged directly from these experiences.
The principle connecting these different areas is simple:
understand how it works, experiment, and transform knowledge into something that can be applied and shared.
